my brother got me a bike for christmas

and we went mountain biking up by folsom lake, near sacramento
and it was the most fun going through the woods on trails
only wide enough for bike tires

then we threw sticks and such into the lake and his dogs swam out and fetched
i also inherited a fine ukelele complete with REI style uke gig bag.
hilarious! my extreme sporty bro.

did i mention he's a fire fighter?
he's rad.
drove up there with folks.

unhee <3's DAY19!!!

the lovely and talented day19 recently shot my spring '07 lookbook.

there were so many good ones it was hard to choose just one of each look.

claire would start shooting, then pass the camera to jeremy to get a different prespective

which i thought was really neat. they are a fantastic team and i was so extremely happy and grateful they were into it.


this is melis my beautiful model.
i was super lucky to have a stylist for a model because she brought with her the most amazing shoe collection.
this is a picture of her fleeing a swarm of bees behind her.
she is allergic and we were all playing it cool so she wouldn't freak out, she asked us if there were a bunch of bees behind her, and we were all, "uh, no, not at all" to which she replied, "really? because it sounds like there's a swarm of them"
there totally was a shitload of bees behind her.
she's a trooper and a champ.

right now i am super into this supremes album dj pubes burned for me.
and since it was an analog to digital burn, you can hear all the cracks of the record. it's awesome.
his girlfriend, stella played this record of the supremes doing all sam cooke covers and it sends me, honest it does.
